At J VanderArend, our work is built on the belief that people do their best work when they feel included. That belief applies to this website, too. We want wecreatetoelevate.com to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. In practice that means we work to:

• Add descriptive alt text to images

• Use clear headings so the page structure makes sense to screen readers

• Keep strong color contrast between text and backgrounds

• Make sure the Site can be navigated with a keyboard

• Write in plain language

Known limitations

The Site is built on Squarespace, and our booking page is hosted by Google. Some parts of those third-party platforms may not fully meet our goal, and we can't always control them. We review the Site periodically and fix issues we find.
